After School Activities
The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
Staff members organise the following activities:
The activities available may change from year to year.
During the school day sports opportunities are offered to children in addition to their normal PE. On various afternoons children have an opportunity to participate in soccer, hockey and netball. A computer club runs every lunchtime for P5 - P7 and also after school for P6's. The school library is also open at this time. In the spring term the P7 classes participate in French classes which are very popular and enjoyable.
Opportunities exist for a number of selected pupils to receive tuition in strings, brass and woodwind from the Southern Education and Library Board's Music Services Peripatetic Staff.
The school has also purchased additional musical instruments. A hire charge for these is paid to the school. The money raised is used for the development of music in the school
