Friends of Edenderry organised a super day on Friday 25th October. The children dressed as Superheroes and Princesses and enjoyed making poisonous apples in the school assembly hall.

The parents (and grandparent) volunteers did a fabulous job transforming the assembly hall (and themselves) to be ready for Halloween.

A huge thank you for all of their hard work. The hall looked amazing and the pupils had a wonderful time!

BANBRIDGE FUN RUN- Wednesday 22nd May 2019

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Banbridge Fun Run. As always Edenderry Primary School was very well represented by pupils and parents. As you will see from the photos below we all enjoyed this wonderful community event .

The mile-a-day and Couch to Marathon Club are definitely boosting pupil fitness.

Look out for Johnny Breen in the pictures, he is an ex Edenderry Governor, was a member of Friends of Edenderry and the person who suggested entering our school in this event. Johnny ran in the 10km event and is constantly finding ways to raise money for charity.

Finally many thanks to Friends of Edenderry for organising the event. We had a great evening.

The warm up.

The run.

Support is essential. Thank you to all  who came to cheer the runners on.

Crossing the finishing line...

and then the cool down....

Hats off to the amazing Easter bonnets and hats which the children displayed before the Easter break. The Easter scenes were equally as impressive giving wonderful pictures of the Easter Story.

The Judges had a very difficult time but we think everyone who took part was a winner!

Many thanks to FoE who organised the super event.

Thank you to all who raised money for the school through our sponsored Fun Fit Sports Kit Fundraising event. So far we have raised £1 800. A special thanks to Sophie and Jack, they were the top Fun Fit Fund Raisers.

Friends of Edenderry  and parents presented Mrs Mitchell with a gift to mark her retirement.

The children, with the support of Evo's coaches, had a great time playing football. A huge thank you to Paul Evans and his team. Please remember to sent sponsorship money to school.

Thanks to the generosity of parents we have 17 hampers for the Christmas raffle along with many other prizes kindly donated by local businesses. The draw will take place on Monday 17th December.

Well done to all who took part in the Banbridge Fun Run!
