Edenderry Banbridge 1 v 0 Edenderry Portadown

Edenderry Banbridge travelled to Poradown and played the quarter final on a school playground. The boys took some time getting used to this unfamiliar surface. Sam controlled the game from centre midfield and made good use of the wide pass finding Nathan, Ben and Matthew. Nathan made strong down the wing but the boys found it difficult to get on the end of his passes as the ball bobbled on the tarmac. Just before half time Sam found the back of the net.

Dylan, at sweeper continued to block Portadown's attacks and Fynn for once had very little to do in goal. The score remained 1-0 at the end of the match.

Edenderry will now face a strong Bocombra team in the semis.

This years Town Sports is on Tuesday 16th June at Cheney Park from 10-12pm.

Mr Smith takes after school rugby skills during term 2. Come along on a Tuesday from 3-4pm. Everyone is welcome both girls and boys.
